The XVII Annual Dinner

Date: Friday, 15 March 2024, 6PM - 10PM
Venue: Inner Temple Hall, London, EC4Y 7HL
Dress Code: Black Tie

This is our biggest and most anticipated event of the year. The event is attended by current members, students, KCL alumni, barristers, and judges to celebrate the work and achievements of the society and its members. This year, the dinner will be held at the Inner Temple Hall in the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

The evening begins with a Prosecco Reception, and is followed by a three course dinner catered by Inner Temple. There will be an after-dinner speech by our esteemed guest speaker Baroness O’Loan. The night will end with an opportunity to network and socialise with our attendees and guests.

Terms and conditions:

1. All refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Decisions regarding refunds will be at the complete discretion of the KCLBMS Executive Committee (President, Vice-Presidents, and Treasurer).

2. All guests must be of at least the age of 18 or above and must present an official piece of photographic identification (driver's licence, or passport) if requested upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry, without refund, to any person who is unable to provide such photographic proof.

3. No food or drink may be brought into the venue (except in limited circumstances on proven medical grounds) unless otherwise notified at our discretion.

4. Ticket purchases must be in correspondence with each individual purchaser status. Membership ticket pricing will require proof of membership payment and an active membership status upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry if the ticket type does not correspond with the attendee status. Any refunds in regard to incorrect status will be subject to our general refund policy.

5. Resale of tickets will be permitted, provided that the reselling member or attendee ensures that the ticket is being sold to a corresponding individual with the same membership or non-membership status. We reserve the right to refuse entry if the ticket type does not correspond with the attendee status.

6. Harassment and/or disorderly or inappropriate behaviour of any kind at the event will not be tolerated. Any finding or suspicion of such actions pending KCLBMS Executive Committee findings will result in possible penalties up to and including a permanent ban from all future events and/or reporting to the relevant legal (police) or academic (King's College London) authorities if required. The Committee bears no liability for imposing a penalty if they are later found to not be guilty of the offence.

These terms and conditions do not by any means affect any of your statutory rights.
